How should our schools equip young people for life in the wider world? As a supplement to traditional academic subjects, schools have dealt with life's more delicate topics through personal, social, health, and economic education - or PSHE.
Caroline Lucas MP, Co-Leader of the Green Party, has been a long-time campaigner for such education - and today her renewed attempt at making PSHE a statutory requirement will be debated by Parliament.
Share Radio's Alex Clark spoke to Caroline Lucas, and first asked how she understood PSHE.
