Reuters revealed that tech company Yahoo had secretly scanned millions of its users' email accounts on behalf of the US government, the first case to surface of a U.S. Internet company agreeing to a request to searching all arriving messages, as opposed to examining stored messages. The latest allegations come less than two weeks after Yahoo said hackers had stolen millions of users' data.
