The BBC iPlayer will be reinvented in a bid to be the top online TV service in the UK by 2020.
That's according to the director general Tony Hall.
Lord Hall told staff he wanted the BBC to "reinvent public broadcasting for a new generation".
Tech journalist Chris Green spoke to Share radio's James Brydges about why it was a priority for the broadcaster.
