Today The Federation of Small Businesses has published a comprehensive report looking at the way small firms and the wider economy are affected by poor payment practice. The report entitled 'Time to Act: The economic impact of poor payment practice' found that policy interventions are failing and that in the last five years the rate of late payments for small businesses has risen.
