This week Marc discusses what are different religious communities looking for in a new mayor? In recent weeks’ candidates such as the Tory's Zac Goldsmith and Labour's Sadiq Khan, and others, have all been grilled on what they will do for the capital. Their actions and policies can also feed into the rest of the country in terms of wealth and prosperity created. But religious communities also have a stake in the vote and have their own concerns that they have been raising during the campaign period. Marc is joined by Danny Webster from the Evangelical Alliance, Justin Cohen from the Jewish News and Fiyaz Mughal from Faith Matters to discuss the religious angle in the campaign.

Linda Lewis heads over to Snact this week, a company that makes fruit jerky from surplus fruit. She meets founders Ilana Taub and Michael Minch Dixon, asking them how they set up the company. The pair convey their passion for cutting food waste, their aim to collect unwanted fruit from markets and suppliers, and turn it into something that people would want to buy.

Founded by brothers David and Matthew Farr, Nip Nip Cycling provide a mobile bicycle repair service for large offices in the City. They also do repairs at their Service Hub in Southwark, which is also a training centre for homeless people supported by the St Mungo's charity to learn bike repair skills.

This week Matthew Cook visits Action Aid HQ, a leading international charity who support women and children in extreme poverty, fight for the rights of the world's poorest people in forty three countries, work with over five thousand schools globally to get children and young people the education they deserve, and have been campaigning for change for over forty years.

Matthew Cook visits Artbox London, a registered charity and social enterprise that helps artists with learning disabilities to create artwork, as well as running art workshops to provide opportunities for the artists to exhibit their work in galleries and sell them to the public.

This week, Matthew Cook visits CARIS, a registered charity which runs two projects in Islington. One is a bereavement counselling service which is open to adults and children, and the other is a cold weather night shelter which is open everyday during the winter months offering hospitality to homeless guests and supporting them in finding more permanent accommodation.
