Forbes' billionaire list is out for 2017.183 of the list are from the industry - up 23 on the previous year - with 3 of the top 5 being CEOs of tech companies. They have a combined $1 trillion net worth. To go through the list Georgie Frost was joined by Mary-Ann Russon, Senior Technology Reporter with the International Business Times UK.

Google has responded to major companies withdrawing online adverts by promising to take "a tougher stance on hateful, offensive and derogatory content". The comments come after it emerged adverts including those funded by the UK Government were appearing next to extremist videos. So who is Google really answerable to and what can it do to regulate its content? Amongst the spending pledges made by the Chancellor in this year's Budget we've heard millions will be set aside for research into futuristic technologies such as biotech, driverless cars and robotics. Money will also be put into a 5G network and supporting education in the STEM industries- science, technology, engineering and mathematics- with funding for 1,000 new PhD and fellowship positions.
