The price of education in the UK continues to make headlines. Students are having to pay extortionate prices for university. They are leaving with a mountain of debt. And with prices looking likely to increase in the autumn of 2017, under new Tory legislation, is there a cheaper way to learn new skills without paying over the odds? Well, one-way people are doing it is by turning to digital tools, and apps rather than pay for expert advice or services. In fact, over 40% have done this, according to Halifax Insurance. Georgie Frost was joined by Dr Kairen Cullen, and Educational Psychologist.

Thirty-five million pounds is spent every year and over 100 operations take place every day removing decaying teeth from children resulting in the missing school according to the local government association. A third of 12-year-olds are too embarrassed to smile because of the state of their teeth. Dental health professionals are hoping to improve this by highlighting three key messages for National Smile Month. Dental surgeon Steve Williams spoke to Georgie.

Eating insects for nourishment is not a novel idea and has never became common in Modern Europe…until now perhaps? There is a need, as by the year 2050, the planet's population is estimated to be around nine billion people, so we'll need to find another source of protein other than animals and food stuffs like beans cheese and eggs. One company that is currently doing just that is from France and called Jiminis. It's appearing at the Good Food Show which starts Friday 20th for the weekend and it's highlighting fresh healthy ingredients. Constance Deseine, Director of Sales for Jiminis joins Georgie Frost to explain all.
