This is Money: What happens next to the property market and house prices?
Since the stamp duty holiday came in last summer, there has been a property market mini-boom despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Is it losing puff yet and if not, when is it going to run out of steam and will we see the tax holiday extended? The typical home added £20,000 of value in 2020 according to the Office for National Statistics, while prices of detached homes are growing far quicker than other housing stock. On this week’s podcast, Simon Lambert, Lee Boyce and Georgie Frost take a look at the latest property market data to dissect what it means. On 3 March, we will have a Budget. Will it give an indication as to how we could foot the huge bill linked to the pandemic? Will there be tax rises? And are there simple ways to protect your wealth? How many shares should you hold to diversify and is fund manager Neil Woodford really about to stage a comeback. Meanwhile, Lee gives a free wine course from Aldi a go as part of his consumer trends column – does he have what it takes to become a Master of Wine?

Gadgets & Gizmos: Colour e-readers, coffee as a diet aid, spying emails and cubic wombat poo
Share Radio's technology guru Steve Caplin looks at Jaguar's move to electric-only production and Coventry's bid to establish a battery gigafactory. Still with electric, there's more on the modular EV chassis and a Japanese electric oil tanker. He welcomes a colour e-reader, despite the price, and the news video games make you feel better. Coffee, he tells us, helps you burn fat while there's a clever new light in a bike helmet, the revelation that ⅔ of emails contain spy pixels and a suggested use for wombats' ability to poo cubically.

The Financial Outlook for Personal Investors: Can miners restore the FTSE yield and is inflation returning?
Russ Mould, Investment Director of A J Bell asks whether, in the light of the increase in mining company dividends, the miners can dig the FTSE 100 out of its dividend hole, particularly given the cautious dividend stance exhibited by Barclays. He discusses the cyclical nature of the mining sector and wonders if its strength, and the strength of so many commodities, might be an indicator of inflation expectations.

The Hypnotist: Hypnosis from the Loop - Stasis
This hypnosis session is inspired by the TV show Tales from the Loop and the episode Stasis. In that episode a teenage girl finds a device that enables her to stop time, making a moment last forever. Adam takes that premise and creates a hypnotic journey where the listener can freeze time at 4 moments in life. Your best day from childhood. A day you were in Love (perhaps for the first time). Your worst ever moment (to take away negative emotions and re-frame to a useful experience). Your best ever day!
