2017 has got off to a bad start for PM with the resignation of Britain's EU ambassador Sir Ivan Rogers - how much of a body blow is his departure?
The countdown to the end of March is underway as Prime Minister Theresa May gears up to trigger Article 50. If all goes to plan Britain will formally start negotiations to leave the European Union - however it won't be plain sailing. This month 11 Supreme Court judges will deliberate on the government's appeal against a High Court ruling which said MPs must be consulted before BREXIT goes ahead. There's also the matter of the type of BREXIT Britain will get and whether the EU will play ball. Mrs May isn't the only one nursing a New Year's headache. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is under pressure after Len McClusky - leader of the UNITE union - said Mr Corbyn should step down if his opinion poll ratings remain low. For more analysis Juliette Foster was joined by Rishi Patel of FTI Consulting.
