In the modern age, globalization, together with advances in communications and transportation, has greatly increased the number of people who have the desire and the capacity to move to other places. Sunday was International Migrants Day and we've been in contact with Migrant Voice, an organisation dedicated to giving migrants worldwide a voice to express their experiences and struggles. Colin spoke with Yuliana Topazly, who moved to the UK from Russia when she was 19 and now runs her own business, and Rehab Jameel, a human rights activist, anti-FGM campaigner, and civil engineer, holding an MPhil from Cambridge in engineering for sustainable development.
