With Halloween is now just days away. And the fruit most commonly known for the scare fest is the pumpkin. But they are not just getting attention for the night of ghosts and ghouls. Today is national Pumpkin Day where people across the world enjoying cake, pie, cookies, bars, pudding, coffee, smoothies, breads, muffins, soups, cheesecake and more, all made with delicious pumpkin. The longer-term future for the advertising industry is very different, as we spend much of our time on mobiles, tablets and watching streamed content. Already advertisers are using every kind of hi-tech digital tool to plan and measure their campaigns to get their messages to customers. But the changes are said to have caused a growing gulf between the old-school creatives who come up with the campaigns and the tech people who are needed to deliver the ads. RadiumOne has launched a new division to explicitly deal with this issue, and Share Radio spoke with the European MD of the company, Craig Tuck, who joined us to talk about the future of advertising.
