The Danish conglomerate Maersk Group said it will split to form separate transport and energy companies. In an announcement today it said the main group Møller - Mearsk will become an integrated transport and logistics company. Oil and oil related businesses, either individually or in combination, will be separated from the main group. Maersk Oil will focus on optimizing and strengthening its strong position in the Danish, British and Norwegian parts of the North Sea. The Møller - Mærsk A/S will reorganise into two separate divisions; Transport & Logistics and Energy. Accendo's Mike van Dulken joins us

Regular listeners to the programme will know that our Apprentices are five members of the Share Radio team who've each been given fifteen thousand pounds of virtual money to build their own share portfolios. They're allowed a minimum of eight stocks from different sectors which they've been buying and selling through the Share Centre. Our two apprentice investors today are Alexi Phillips and Matt Cox - and giving us his verdict on their efforts is Share Radio's senior analyst, Ed Bowsher.

In Edinburgh today the future of The TV market in Scotland in terms of audiences, commissioning and the BBC is being debated. It'll focus on priorities for serving audiences, commissioning and for supporting independent production, this conference will examine the future of the TV market in Scotland. With the BBC White Paper placing greater emphasis on devolved content, delegates will consider the impact in Scotland and the recommended changes to the way the BBC is governed, regulated and funded. Delegates will also discuss how all broadcasters can best respond to the rapidly changing media market - and to new patterns of audience demand and demographic changes, following concerns over the quality and quantity of programming serving audiences in Scotland. Our Scotland correspondent, Maurice Smith, joins us on the line.
